Wright Co. Fair

Andy and I both ended up having today off (Thursday) so we got to spend some time together as a family. This afternoon we took Kaitlyn to the Wright County Fair. The fair grounds are only about 4 miles from our house but we've never gone before. Kaitlyn loved the petting zoo, she got licked by a camel and pulled the hair on a llama.

11 Months!

I can't believe that she is almost one year old! Today when I was taking pictures she stood up out of the chair all by herself. She was acting so goofy I decided to get out the video camera so lucky for us, we got her standing alone for the first time on tape! The world is her jungle gym now, she will crawl all over anything and everything.

I took Kaitlyn to the cabin last weekend for her first Hey Days in Tamarack. We had a full cabin, Rachel Jeff, Wyatt, Lauren, Becky, Riley, my parents, Jessie and Dave came along. Andy had to stay home and work so he missed it. The weekend was pretty miserable. The high temps only reached into the low 60s and it rained off and on every day. When we took a boat ride on Sunday it was about 55 degrees so we were all bundled up and couldn't stand being out for long. Kaitlyn slept through the parade and most of the carnival on Saturday. She woke up about 20 minutes before we left the park! At least she got a good nap in.
