Minneapolis Aquatennial Fireworks

Kaitlyn's first glow necklace.
Logan, Jessie, and Kaitlyn waiting for the show to start

This is exactly how Kaitlyn looked during the entire 30 minute Aquatennial firework show. She never looked away from the sky the whole time. We're not sure if she was happy or scared.

Kaitlyn's First Allergic Reaction

We're still not sure what she ate that she had a reaction to, whatever it was, her body didn't like it. The doctor gave her some benedryl and she is already starting to look better. Luckily, it isn't slowing her down one bit, I think Andy and I were in worse shape that she was.

No dad, that's my remote control....

"Hee hee, I got the remote"

"I'm gonna change the channel and there is nothing you can do about it"

"Hey! That's my remote control"

Sunday was our 6th Annual Waverly Daze Celebration. This may have been our biggest turn out yet, we had 41 people there to watch the parade. Kaitlyn had a great time hanging out with Grandma Kaye watching the floats go by.

4th of July Boat Parade!

The "Berg" clan decorated the pontoon and participated in the 4th of July boat parade at the cabin. We had a pirate theme and everybody got really into it. Poor Kaitlyn didn't have a good time being on the boat in her life jacket for 6 hours. After the parade we had family over to the cabin for dinner to celebrate my mom's birthday.

First Boat Trip

We took Kaitlyn to the cabin last weekend and she got to go on her first boat ride. She loved the wind in her hair but she wasn't a huge fan of the life jacket. She could hardly move in it. it was a typical June weekend in Minnesota, high 60s! We were hoping to get her in the lake to swim for the first time but it was way too cold. Hopefully she'll do better this weekend, we are going to be in a boat parade for the 4th of July.

Bob and Carol's Wedding

Two weeks ago we went to the wedding of Bob and Carol Wyatt. Bob is the father of my good friend Geoff. Carol is the mother/grandmother of some of my coworkers at the bank so we knew most of the people there. Bob was a father figure for most of our friends in high school so we were all there to help them celebrate. My parents came during the reception to take Kaitlyn home, she couldn't handle all the polka music!
