Kaitlyn's First Christmas

Kaitlyn got new moose pajamas so she can match Grandma Kathy now.

She will chew on anything that gets close to her!

We had a very busy Christmas this year. Kaitlyn experienced her first candlelight Christmas service at church, even though I think her dress was the most flammable thing around. Kaitlyn got plenty of new toys that she will soon be playing with. She also got a U of M hat, go gophers!

First Meal

We decided to let Kaitlyn try rice cereal just before Christmas. She got bored with eating with a spoon quickly and just wanted her bottle back!

Snacks with Santa

Last weekend we took Kaitlyn to the Minnesota Zoo to have Snacks with Santa. She didn't mind the jolly old fellow. She was treated to a new giraffe to add to her collection in her room. After snacks, we took her on a trip through the zoo and she rode the monorail, however, she slept through most of it!

Three Months!

Theta Holiday Party

In February the three of us got together for a baby shower celebration for Shawnee (see previous post). We met again last week and finally got to take a picture with our babies.

Kaitlyn loves to be held ALL day long. Today we tried her in a new swing and she loves it.

First Thanksgiving

Smiling baby! We have seen so many smiles in the last few weeks, she is such a happy little girl.

First German Celebration

We brought Kaitlyn to Gastof's in Minneapolis on the 22nd to celebrate Auntie Sarah and Uncle Dave's birthdays. She even got to polka a little before heading home!

We are taking a picture of Kaitlyn each month in her rocking chair so we can see how much she grows.

Kaitlyn's first Halloween

Kaitlyn went trick or treating today for the first time with her cousins Wyatt, Riley, and Lauren. Rachel, Jeff, and Becky brought the kids out for a night of fun. Since Andy and I are the only ones that have neighbors nearby, it was the first time for all of them and they had a blast. They left with a wagon full of candy and tummy aches. We had wonderful 60 degree weather so Kaitlyn got to come along. She slept through most of it but I'm sure she had fun too.

Wyatt was a pirate, Lauren was a bumble bee, Riley was a garden fairy and Kaitlyn was a pumpkin.

Our friend Laura came to visit last weekend and to meet Kaitlyn. The three of us took Kaitlyn to her first pumpkin patch and petting zoo, the world's largest ball of twine, and we carved pumpkins.

Kaitlyn got the attention of many of the visitors at the farm when she posed in the pumpkin patch!

We had a photographer come out October 5th to take pictures of the whole family. They turned out great.

Baptism-October 5th, 2008

Kaitlyn was baptized at Calvin Presbyterian Church on Sunday, October 5th.
There were a lot of friends and family there helping us celebrate.
Jessie France and Dave Andrs are her Godparents.

It took Jessie and I quite some time to get Kaitlyn into her dress, tights, and little tiny shoes.
