Our Little Pricess is 1!

We had a princess theme party for Kaitlyn's first birthday. She was Snow White. I was really impressed with her, she kept the dress on for a long time, even the headband! I think the kids had fun dressing up.

We had some appetizers and a big pizza buffet for dinner.

Grandma looked as bad as Kaitlyn after the cake was served. The castle looked great but it becuase it was so tall it fell over when they were trying to cut it. Thanks for my mom and Jessie for graciously serving the cake.

Wyatt's 4th Birthday

I think Kaitlyn had cake and ice cream every day last week because of all of the birthday celebrations.

I'm not sure who this guy is but Kaitlyn was scared of him, she made sure she didn't get too close!

I took time off work after our trip to Oklahoma to take Wyatt out to play for his birthday. He wanted us to go to the Mall of America and ride rides all night. Lucky for us, it was the first day of school and toddler Tuesday so there was no one there and the rides were half priced! Andy and Sean were the only adults that got unlimited ride wristbands. They ran from ride to ride trying to get as many in as possible. Andy also did an adventure ropes course that takes you 5 stories into the air, I got a big nervous as he was at the very top walking on a single rope. Wyatt kept saying "Auntie Eah, he's gonna fall"

Oklahoma Birthday Celebration

We flew to Oklahoma for Labor Day weekend to celebrate Kaitlyn's first birthday with Andy's family. We had a party for her on Saturday. She loved opening presents. She was afraid of her cake at first. As soon as we put the cake in front of her she looked at it, looked at her foot, and smashed the whole piece with her foot. Then she cried, and crawled away, there was black frosting everywhere!
